Scope
This policy covers the Quirevia Android app and this companion website. Quirevia is a creative tool for writing, arranging and exporting illustrated pocket editions. It does not provide counseling or process clinical records. The app behavior described here applies to version 1.0.1.
Your pages
Your edition titles, page writing, illustration selections, page order, reading position, named versions and reduced-motion preference are saved so you can return to your work. Text you choose to write can contain personal information. Enter only what you want to keep in your own creative documents.
On-device storage
The Android app stores your shelf in its private application storage on your device. It does not send these records to an app server. This storage is not presented as an encrypted vault; access also depends on your device security and operating system.
Saving and recovery
Committed edits and navigation positions are saved locally. Text in an open writing dialog is committed when you choose Keep writing; Cancel leaves the page unchanged. Named editions preserve copies of pages. Restoring a named edition first saves the current working pages as Before restore. If stored data cannot be read, the app reports the problem instead of automatically replacing the original record.
Exported documents
When you export a reading or booklet PDF, the Android document picker asks where to save it. The export contains the text and artwork from the edition you selected. The destination can be local storage or a provider installed on your device. A provider may sync or process the document under its own terms. Cancelling the picker leaves your edition unchanged.
Device permissions
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera or general photo library. Saving a PDF uses the destination you choose through the system document picker. Quirevia does not request broad storage permission.
Network access
Core illustrations, fonts, writing starters and tools are bundled in the Android app. The app has no Internet permission and does not make runtime requests to an image-generation service. Optional email, dialer and website actions open a separate application. Those apps, the companion website and any document provider you choose may need connectivity. No edition content is attached to contact actions.
Accounts
Quirevia does not create an app account or require a sign-in for its editing tools. There is no app password, profile directory or account-deletion workflow. Removing local work is described below.
Analytics and advertising
This Android implementation contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or remote crash-reporting SDK. It does not transmit usage events to the publisher. Device or app-store services can operate independently of the app under their own policies.
Purchases
This version does not implement billing, subscriptions or an in-app checkout. It does not receive payment-card details or purchase records. Any later version that changes this behavior will need corresponding disclosures.
Retention
Local editions and named versions remain until you remove them, clear app storage or uninstall the app. The app does not run a server retention schedule. PDFs you export are separate copies and remain in their chosen destinations until you remove them there.
Deleting your work
Open an edition, choose Edition options, then Remove from shelf and confirm. This removes that working edition and its named versions from the local shelf. To remove all app-held work, use Android system settings to clear the app storage or uninstall the app. These actions do not remove previously exported PDFs.
Device backup
The app disables Android automatic app backup and excludes its data from the Android cloud-backup and device-transfer rules it declares. Device-manufacturer behavior can vary; this is not a guarantee about every device-management tool. Keep exported copies of work you want to retain before changing devices or clearing storage.
Children
Quirevia is a general creative tool. It does not ask for a birth date, establish a child profile or provide a public sharing community. An adult helping a younger user should consider what personal details are written into pages and where exported files are saved.
External applications
The document picker, PDF viewer, storage provider, email app, dialer and browser are separate applications. Contact actions only open the selected app; Quirevia does not send email or place calls automatically. Their access, synchronization and retention depend on the destination and its settings. Quirevia does not automatically upload or publish your edition.
Website hosting
This website is a static companion site. Its print-order demonstration runs in the browser and does not send the chosen page count to an app service. The site includes no analytics script, advertising pixel or submitted contact form. The supplied companion website address is https://keshet.pages.dev/. When you visit it, the hosting provider may process ordinary connection information such as IP address and browser details to serve and protect the pages. Email and telephone links open your chosen application; information you send is handled by the recipient and the services you choose.
Changes
This policy was updated on 24 September 2026 for Quirevia 1.0.1, including the supplied contact details and optional external contact actions. Policy text can change when the implementation or publication arrangements change. The effective date appears at the top of this page. Material future changes to data behavior should be explained alongside the updated app and policy.
